I am not exactly sure how this is so, but my grandfather was David Anderson Benenhaley, who was the youngest child of Leslie Rae Benenhaley and her husband who I can't recall. My grandfather grew up in Sumter, SC and moved in 1969, with his German war bride, Christina, to Bel Air, Maryland. They had 4 children, Ruth, Shirley, Barbara and Michael. I am the daughter of Barbara and Mark Dedrich, who reside in Bel Air, Maryland. I live in New York City and am in my last year of law school. My grandfather passed away in 1982 and since then there has been little communication with his relatives who live in Sumter County today. Would love to get any information that could help piece together the puzzle.
