Very glad to meet you! According to info I have, Henry was born about 1851 in Pike Co., Ga. to William and Locadia Taylor. Henry moved to Texas around 1872. I wonder what relationship to Henry were the other Texas descendants of the Taylor/Benehaley family? I also wonder if they all moved to Texas together by wagon train/convoy? Also I find in the Census that William and Locadia remained in Ga. My mother Elizabeth, granddaughter of Henry, was born in Texas, but moved back to Ga, with parents and Henry after 1911.
