Jan 27, 1909 Holly Hill, SC / d. Nov 11, 1987 (Brooklyn, NY) Buried at Rock Hill A.M.E. Cemetery, Vance, SC Moved to Brooklyn, NY 1940 Uncles: Jack Shingler - Died 1948 Odean Shingler (Johhny) Mack Shingler (All buried in Holly Hill, SC) William (Dooley) Shingler - born 1924 - Still living in Holly Hill, SC Aunts: Mae Ella - Deceased Living Emma Jean Shingler (married - Sweat) - born 1926 Moved to Brooklyn 1940 Emma Jean and Dooley raised by my mother Misoura due to early death of their mother Hattie. Would appreciate any information you may have about this Shingler family in Holly Hill, SC. or the Grant Family (Wells Crossing, SC) My intention is to preserve a family history for my grandchildren.Most of the older peope are dead now and much information lost.
