A Thomson Genealogy 5. Catharine Williams Thomson, born on February 17, 1824, in St. Peter's Parish, Beaufort District, married on October 31, 1849, by the Rev. Lucius Bellinger, to David Izban Rice. She died on September 2, 1898, and is buried at Springtown Cemetery, Bamberg County, near her plantation "Rice's Ridge." paraphrased: 12 children born of the above marriage, the first child was David H.
