Joby, in response to your February 5th request for descendants of the subject Elizabeth Dixon. I have an Elizabeth (Dixon) Dickson who was the daughter of a John (Dixon) Dickson. This Elizabeth was born in North Carolina on 09/04/1784, married Gilbert Kennedy, Jr., and died in Mississippi on 11/06/1862. Could be the same Dixon family, however, this Elizabeth seems to be about two generations older than yours. Perhaps the same family.
