This is posted to multiple Lists. Please excuse the repetition. In doing Genealogy Research, I have found that many CRIBB people now in S C, N C and Ga have Ancestors that came to this Country from England in the early 1700's, and settled in what is now Georgetown County, S. C. My CRIBB Family Line goes back to that time and area. Also, I have seen many CRIBBS people listed. I have very little info on their Ancestors, the area of this Country in which they settled, nor the Country they came from. I will appreciate hearing from anyone who has any information or documentation that any CRIBB or CRIBBS Person or Family whose name was changed to add the S or omit the S. I will be glad to share my info with anyone who wishes. Ernest T. Cribb 3999 Hwy 297 A Cantonment, Fl. 32533-9768 1-850-478-6650 9/13/21 ecribb1@aol.com
Three Rivers Historical Society in Hemingway, S. C. has quite a bit of information about The Cribb Family of that area. Their address is 414 N. Main Street, Hemingway, S. C. 29554. They are on-line, but I cannot find their web site right now. I know some Cribbs and will try to get in touch with them and give them your letter.
