I am looking for a Catherine Colwell/Caldwell in Spartanburg Dist., Limestone Springs Twp, about 1824. Catherine believed to be sister of J. Judah "Judy" ____. I need their maiden surname. Catherine witnessed a deed in 1824 probably as representative of her sister, Judy. Colwell may be Catherine's married name. The deed was for 68 acres on Peoples Creek from Isaac Pennington to Sarah Coyle/Coil. Judy was Isaac's spouse.
