Dorothy, Yes, there is a town of Ninety Six, SC which was the seat of the Ninety Six District. Star Fort is on the outskirts of this quaint little Town, and each year in the spring and fall they have a re-enactment there. It is a National Park and has lots of history. The first battle of the revolutionary war was fought there. The original town of Cambridge was close to the Fort. http://www.nps.gov/nisi/ is the Website to see.
