She is listed in the 1870 cencus living in Pike County, ALabama and being 42 yrs old. She was born in South Carolina. I believe her parents were Ephraim Howell and Mary Matlida DuBose, but I am trying to prove that now. Mary Matlida DuBose was the daughter of Zachariah DuBose and Susannah Carter. Bother were from Sumter COunty.

I have no info on the father of my Robert Waddell who immigrated in 1820 from County Donegal. His mother came over abt 1826 and his brother John arrived after 1832 from Maine with his family. It is assumed their father died prior to their mother immigrating. I do know that my Robert lived on or near the Montgomery Estate at Convoy which is close to Raphoe. He was a gardener/landscaper.
