    1. [SC] HEYWARD
    2. Edward L. Manigault
    3. I have a lot of HEYWARD names in my database, most taken from "The Red Book" of their genealogy by James Barnwell Heyward II. I will be happy to do any "look-ups" for you, if this is the spelling you are interested in. A new study based on the Nathaniel Heyward line is now being prepared by a Heyward descendant, but I have no idea when (or if) it might be ready for distribution. If this person reads my reply, perhaps he might be willing to help also, but I leave that up to him. 3. ClubTweety you probably already know about the virus from hahaha about Snowwhite and the 7 Dwarfs-IT IS A VIRUS and DO NOT OPEN; I didn't open it; it's a gross(if that's how you spell it) and stupid idea of having fun on someone's part and will wipe out your whole hard drive. I am going to forward some of the jokes to you to encourage you not to give up about researching your ancestors; I had to search for years to find a few living and a few dead(living on the other side)ones and it was woth it. The jokes are from Geri; grew up in West Texas, now out of state. When feeling low about geneology this usually or at times I should say, pops into the computer(she knows what it's like to search for years and finally find something apparently). frances ----- Original Message ----- From: <ClubTweety@aol.com> To: <SCROOTS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 21, 2001 21:11 PM Subject: Re: [SC] Low point > Hayward/haywood/Heyward/Heywood/Heaward/Heawood > > all from around Georgetown, SC > > > > > ==== SCROOTS Mailing List ==== > [SC] SCROOTS-L@ROOTSWEB.COM > http://www.scroots.org/ > > ============================== > Join the RootsWeb WorldConnect Project: > Linking the world, one GEDCOM at a time. > http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com > >

    3. You got that right. Am finding cousins over the Internet and this is so great; I rejoice(email the others everytime I find a new relative or they find me and call what little family I have); people are great over the Internet; I think most people are great although we are living in a world in which we must be careful; TV and the movies have done a good job of conditioning us and our kids to sarcasm, cruelty, lack of respect for people and their feelings and respecting the dignity of human life. The Internet helps me regain a little trust with a healthy respect for the other things that do go on out there. frances ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony and Julie Howell" <tjhowell@bellsouth.net> To: <SCROOTS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 22, 2001 8:17 AM Subject: Re: [SC] Low point > i love genealogy...it's the best support group in the world. someone posted a whole page of genealogy > humorour "one-liners"...i kept two quips that i taped to my monitor: > "my hobby is genealogy. i raise dust bunnies as pets" > "my family tree must have been used for firewood" > > sometimes, like with any other problem, you just have to get up and walk away from it for a while. not > long, just until the urge passes to reduce your entire computer system to tiny bits and pieces. :) > > julie > > ClubTweety@aol.com wrote: > > > I'm hitting the low point again............................Someone please > > slap me and say " don't give up" > > > > ==== SCROOTS Mailing List ==== > > Subscription management instructions are posted at http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/usa/SC/misc.html > > > > ============================== > > Join the RootsWeb WorldConnect Project: > > Linking the world, one GEDCOM at a time. > > http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com > > > ==== SCROOTS Mailing List ==== > SCRoots Query Board > http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/SCROOTS > > ============================== > Join the RootsWeb WorldConnect Project: > Linking the world, one GEDCOM at a time. > http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com > >

    3. Does this include the BRUNETT and BUTLER lines that were in/around St. John's Parish, Berkeley Co and/or Craven Co in the mid-1700's? If so, I would appreciate your sharing with me, especially the BRUNETT line. That's one on my list to "investigate." I've done a little, such as collect wills, but don't have too much at this time. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks. MM ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
