    3. Hello, Ralph Deloach, Have you had any luck in the O'Quinn search? I am still trying to find out the parents of my Meshack Benton who married Ann O'Quinn. I haven't found anything on Ann's parents either. There was a lady who lived in Hampton who had to info, Rena Crosby, I think her name was, but she died a few years ago and her husband says he can't find her records. Just my luck. I didn't hear about her until after she was dead and then everyone told me who knew everything but she was deceased. Let me know if you have found an Ann O'Quinn that might match mine. Both of them are buried at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery above Crocketville. Thanks. 3. Hello, Linda, The only thing I know is Crocketville, SC which is a little crossroads about 7 miles from Hampton, SC in Hampton Co. Used to be in Colleton Co a long time ago. There might be something else closer to your spelling. What was the county or whatever that your relation was from? Terry G. 3. For those researching colonial period, one might want to check out the Camden Archives and Museum, about 30 miles NE of Columbia straight down I-20. They house the Colonial Dames XVII Century and the SC DAR Library and have the most helpful and knowledgable staff. Particularly Carol McNaughton who works there Wed-Fri. They are also open the 1st and 3rd Sun. of the month, but not on Sat. they have helped me a lot, altho I am researching the Edgefield Co. area. They also have all SC Counties Censuses for every year. The Caroliniana Library has many manuscripts and has the work of an early genealogist named Leonardo Andreas. I have read files on my early lines in SC in his work. We have access to a lot of what he had to dig thru the hard way to find his info., but some of it is a collection of letters and papers sent to him. There was an index of what is available in his files at www.geocities.com/BourbonStreet/2412/andrea/index.html an email address on the site was suzima27@yahoo.com I downloaded my copy of the index on 1/12/2000 so I don't know if it will be there a year later. 2. Gale Sanders
    3. Hello, I'm posting again (to lists it might have happened on) in case my subject line wasn't clear enough the first time. Someone on the lists, I'm hoping it was this one, had an ancester that I think lived in FLORDIA. She was not able to get out and do any lookups. If you are that person, please email me again. If I remember correctly, you were wondering where that ancestor was born? Doesn't matter, if you and I talked, and I told you I would do something, just email me :) Thanks, Gale Sanders TEXAS _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

    3. Janet, Apparently, Antoinette didn't understand my question, since she defined the word "hoot" instead of answering the question that was asked. DUH!!!! I know what you mean, or think I do. Why do we subscrib to the list and the digest has nothing in it, should me miss the list post? Like Roots - L? Is that what you are trying to ask? NOT the meaning of HOOT? I think this is one. Good luck. You're going to need it. Janet S, in Indiana
