Sandy, Who is it that you are searching for? I'm from Pickens Co., and live in Myrtle Beach - headed home today. I'll be glad to see if I can find any info; I've been tied up w/my children in town this week for the holiday. Get back to me; I'll be here on Sunday. Hello Dolores, You and I have chatted several times about Martin's.. I'd hoped that between Dick Martin and myself looking at the Martin papers so graciously donated to Clemson that we'd find a name amongst them to aid our search for William Waddell Martin's parents or his wife Sarah Elizabeth Mills parents. Alas, no such luck.. yet. They do mention many different family members names but none that I can prove because they leave off the last name mentioning only the given name. Andy, or Andrew, like that. I believe that many of the names stated as brother could be either a MARTIN or a MILLS brother. I do know that Daniel Mills was a brother to Elizabeth but nothing more'n that.. The letters between William and Elizabeth are so full of love. Several times she admonishes him for fighting the rich man's fight. She's after him all the time to write more-that was sorta funny since there are so many letters and the conditions of the time. Thanks for the time, hope your drive is uneventful. Sandy Hamilton
