Sandy, You mentioned a Turner and a Bearden. I have learned my gtgtgt grandfather "Pick" Turner (1810-1880 of Pickens, SC, married a Vinty Beardon/Bearden. Have you ever run across these people? She was supposed to have been Pickens Turner's 2nd wife. The first one may have been a Sizemore. Her first name we know was Sarah/Sallie. "Pick" claimed to be at least hafl Cherokee. Any help appreciated!
