Now I know why I want to come to SC for a visit............Living out of state sure makes it hard to find information....if anyone one has the deed books for Pickens Co. or Old Pendleton District, will you please keep a eye out for a "Brand" listed for Charles PITTS b.abt. 1796 or Elijah Andrew PITTS b. 1824,both were born in Pickens and still living there in the 1860.
