Robert, I got the census today and I loved them. Well from what everyone said about the brand being in the Deed books I guess we would have to go to SC unless you can order the Deed books from LDS....Just our luck.....LOL......I sure wish I could see the deed books to see if Charles Sr. gave land to his sons (Charles , Joel , Willams) I am starting to believe that the older William was also a brother. Maybe we can ask someone if they would do a look-up for us.). I can see I am going to have to go back to LDS and see if I can get some deeds. I found a Pitts that is kin to me by way of the Pitts/ Blankenship / Woodham.She said that her father and I are first couzn........I had hear of her grandmother but not her father or her.But she said that she would be busy until after July 22. So I guess I will have to wait to see if she has anything new to add.Maybe my prayers will be answer......(Smile)....Again thank you for sending the census.
