Ira Thomas ROPER William E., b. 1857 Alexander C., B~1859 Elijah C., b. 8 Jan 1862, d. 12 Jun 1937 Warren D., b. 4 Sep 1864, d. 21 oct. 1892 The above Margaret KEITH EDENS is listed as a child of Allen KEITH, b. 1797, m. 1818 to Rebecca DOUTHIT; lived in Pickens Co., SC, d. 5 Aug 1861. According to the KEITH book, Allen KEITH was the 11th child of Cornelius KEITH, b. 1743, Brunswick Co., VA, m. 1769 to Mary LAFOONE of Rockingham Co., NC; d. 13 Jun 1820, Pickens Co., SC, both Cornelius and mary played notable roles in the ARW. This Cornelius KEITH was the son of Cornelius KEITH, b. 1715, Scotland, m. 1st to Juda THOMPSON, md. 2nd to Mary or Sarah BOHANNON of Rockingham Co., NC; from VA; later removed to NC and later to Pendleton Dist., SC, ca 1790 where he d.1808, bur.
