Hi, Does anyone know anything about the following family found in the Western Division (present day Oconee Co.) of Pickens District on the 1850 SC census? JAMES BARNES, age 36, born NC CAROLINE, age 31, born SC Martha, age 4, born SC Mary, age 2, born SC Anna, age 1, born SC Most of the Barnes men I find seem to be from Jackson County, NC.
