Hi, This is in response to the postings regarding the Cross Road(s) Baptist Church. I currently have on loan, the microfilmed records of this church. They are available from Furman University via ILL. The records start in 1838, and go up to 1966. I just today read the section listings all church members as of 1843. Sometimes there is a note of when the person joined the church, when they left (transferred), or when they died. There are also occasional notes mentioning people getting baptized. I highly recommend this film to anyone who has ancestors that attended that church. Maybe the cemetery records burned, but both the monthly meeting records and membership lists are all extant.
