    3. how many David B Finney's could there have been? I'll look in the cemetery books and see if he's in there. If the date is wrong I might still get a obit for you at least. If they might have lived in the city (VBG) of Pickens it does make it somewhat easier to look at. I fully intend to get there tomorrow and utilize my kidless/hubbyless time.. A young man from California recently contacted me and said his wife was descended from a David Branch Finney, and this family had lived in Pickens, SC. He did not think it was the same family line as mine, but it is ....They didnot have much information but he told me that after David Branch Finney Sr. died in 1913, Cansada married a Ben Culbertson and maybe a man named Simmons aswell.. David B. Finney's death date was recorded in the Pickens cemetery records as being October 5, 1923.. Buried in New Kings Grove Church Cemetery. So... I do not know if he died in 1913 or 1923...If he died in 1913 she was probably already remarried by 1920.. I'm so very greatful for your help..
