    3. I originally did this for the people in the Oconee list, but I thought that since it was so close to Pickens... I work at Oconee Nuclear Station and there is a small grave yard above the Complex entrance that most people don't know about. I wrote down all tombstones that I could read...most of the graves were marked with only a stone, no inscription. Those that had an inscription were the older type of cheap stone and at least 80-100 years old. Here is what I found for those interested. Infant Son of Mack and Eva Jenkins Born & Died Aug 3, 1919 Asleep in Jesus ********************************* (Another) Infant Son of Mack and Eva Jenkins Born & Died June 26, 1927 Gone But Not Forgotten ********************************* Mackie Jr., son of Mack and Eva Jenkins Born Jan 1, 1918 Died Jan 8, 1918 At Rest ********************************* Mattie, Wife of Sam Little Died Feb 26, 1929 Age 36 Years Faithful To Her Trust Even Unto Death ********************************** W.R. Little Born 1916 (The "N" looks like a "W" as if someone made a mistake and tried to cover it up) May The L...(unreadable as it was buried under ground) ********************************** J.E. Little (unable to read inscription) ********************************** I hope this helps someone. I am going to try and inscribe the cemetary by old Pickens when I have time.
