Thanks to Kathleen, our listmom, for helping out with this situation. I am happy to share the maps with anyone on a one-to-one basis due to the copyright laws being such as they are, and I don't mind sharing any of my work with those of you who need lookups. I do apologize to any of you that may have been offended by the extra emails that the requests have caused, but I am just so glad that I have something that may help others. Most of you know that I am at home due to disability, and sometimes I have lots of time on my hands. That means I can pile up with a stack of books and look for your "unknowns." When you need lookups, I need as many specifics as possible, such as dates, names of spouses, children, etc. I am always happy to see what I can find. Right now, I am dealing with three maps. 1) an old map of SC showing the old districts 2) a map of Old Pickens, which was near the Duke Power Nuclear Station 3) a map of the area covered by the waters of Lake Keowee I will be sending the one of Old Pickens out as soon as I can. My mother-in-law is 89 and has ovarian cancer, and my father, who lives in Easley, also has cancer. All this has happened since the 1st of April.
