He was in the 1840 Census of Pickens Dist with 1 male (20-30), 2 males (10-15). 1 male (5-10), 1 female (5-10), 1 female (20-30). >> In the 1850 census transcription published by the Old Pendleton Genealogical Society, there is an F. Freeman, age 43, listed in the Eastern Division. Living in the same household were Arnes (?), female, age 43; John T., age 21; Benjamin, age 17; Malinda, age 16; Henry W., age 9; and Robert, age one month. There was also a Nancy Brewer, age 17, living in the same household. Dolores said there weren't any Freemans in the Western Division, so I thought this might be worth taking a look at even though this household was in the Eastern Division of Pickens District.
