    3. Dolores, Thanks for the update-stay off those feet girl! Good to hear your son is coming to Clemson.. Sorry about the other bouts with the Big C.. What did you mean the "old" town of Pickens is gone? where'd it go? or are you referring to Pickensville? We got gullywashers here in the upstate yesterday.. Thanks to the good Lord.. Sandy in Dacusville.. -----Original Message----- From: DMPringle <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Friday, June 01, 2001 10:39 PM Subject: Re: [SCPICKENS] DAVID BRANCH FINNEY Patricia, I just happened to remember this tonight. There was a Mary FINNEY who was the mayor of Liberty, SC, abt 20 yrs. ago. I would think she still lives there, and I know that she had a dau (sadly, she was a friend, and I can't remember her name at this minute). You might try to be in touch with her. I knew that there was a FINNEY that I knew, but I could just never remember where! Liberty is, of course, close to the new town of Pickens (the old town of Pickens is long gone). Easley, Liberty, and Pickens sort of form a triangle on the maps, just in case you want to look and see if the land may have been close. Maybe this might be a source for you!
