Hi everybody.. just getting back online after a great thunderstorm.. lots of wind-lightning and much needed rain.. I'd gotten this page Saturday from the 1840 census for Pickens and thought I'd share the names listed on it. It lists only the heads of household and the # of males, females. There are 2 pages but I only got the names.. If you see a name I might can get back to it.. It also listed slaves on the 2nd half as well as schooling but no previous states or birth states.. A + sign indicates the possibility of older females that dropped of the copy.. consider that for all names.. I can only see up to the 30-40 years old bracket.
