Hello everyone: Just adding information not previously available to me. The above listed GGGF, Asel/Asa/Acy/Asahal Reeves/Reaves, served in the Revolutionary War. Inasmuch as he is first on any census in Pendleton District, SC, I assume he received Bounty Land; though I've never run across this information in my research. Now it appears that he was in the Revolutionary War. Any tips as to how I can prove this and find out his parentage/siblings/etc.? Thanks for allowing me this wonderful site to seek assistance.
