I've been told that Samuel Reid, b 1802 d 1872, was a sheriff of Pickens County but have not seen any evidence of that. He was married to Isabella Caroline Thompson, b 1808 d 1870. They are both buried at 1st Baptist Church cemetery in Walhalla, SC. Thank you if you can help... MaryClyde
