I show a Joel Reece Jones who married Vashti Roper. Vashti was the daughter of Tyre Roper and Malinda Edens. She was born in 1848 -- I don't know when her husband was born or if they had any children. Maybe Joel Reece could have been a son of the earlier mentioned Joel? (Vashti was my 2nd great-aunt -- I am a descendant of Tyre Roper's son, Elijah.) I know that she and Stephen MARCHBANKS lived in Sptg. in 1830, then moved to Greenville Co., SC, quite close to the line betw/the two. They were members at Reedy River Baptist where they are buried.
