Hello, I am trying to find out more about my ggggg-grandfather and possibly discover some of his siblings and parents. He was Henry Drummond and I think he and his family came to SC around 1800. I found him on the 1820 Pendleton census (M33, roll #120, page 198). This is what I know: HENRY DRUMMOND was born Abt. 1795 in Ireland, and died November 10, 1873 in Polk Co., Ga. He married SARAH CANADY Bet. 1815 - 1818 in South Carolina. She was born Abt. 1798 in South Carolina, and died Aft. 1860 in Georgia. Notes for SARAH CANADY: Last name may be either Canady or Canada. More About HENRY DRUMMOND and SARAH CANADY: Marriage: Bet. 1815 - 1818, (Pendleton) South Carolina Children of HENRY DRUMMOND and SARAH CANADY are: i. JOSEPH BERRY DRUMMOND, b. Abt. 1820, Pendleton, South Carolina; d. Aft. 1880, Polk, Georgia. Joseph married Cassie Elenor Melton, daughter of David Melton who is also on the 1820 census.
