Cathy, You may know this by now but William Watkins parents are supposed to be Henry Watkins born 1803 SC and Evaline? Both died in Lumpkin in 1891 and buried at the Hightower Baptist Church outside Dahlonega Georgia. A sister Polly Watkins married James Rider, brother to Martha, Williams' wife. I recently purchased a book by Dr. Samuel Rider. He has written a great deal on the Riders and there is some Watkins information. Have you seen this book? Aaron
