Reuben McKenzie's wife was named Susan. She died in Anderson Co., TX between May 1854 and Jan 1855 while acting as administrator of her husband's estate. Reuben died in Anderson Co. TX 14 Feb. 1853. Sarah Ann McKenzie married Peter Rice McClanahan in SC. They lived in MS before moving to Anderson Co., TX in Dec. of 1850. Her sister, Mary, who married Samuel Wragg is my ancestor. I have pretty good information on the McKenzie children but cannot find the parents of Reuben (1770-1853).
