Several months ago someone had the book that lists so many of the Confederate soldiers from Pickens Dist. area; I cannot remember who had it or what the name of the book was. I wanted to try again to find a copy to buy, but I cannot remember the title; old age is hitting my brain all too rapidly!!! It was not "Broken Fortunes," I have it. Any help on this is greatly appreciated! Dolores Miller Pringle
Dolores, Could it be "Rebels In Gray,Soldiers From Pickens District,1861-1865" by Louise Bell? That was the other book people were listing along with "Broken Fortunes" by Randolph Kirkland. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dolores Pringle" <dmpringle@sc.rr.com> To: <SCPICKEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 18, 2003 9:19 PM Subject: [SCPICKENS] Confederate soldiers > Several months ago someone had the book that lists so many of the > Confederate soldiers from Pickens Dist. area; I cannot remember who had it > or what the name of the book was.
