We believe THOMAS was born in Pickens, Pickens County around 1792 when it was still part of the Pendleton District. Don't know when he married; son ALEXANDER born in 1813. The family subsequently moved to Nashville Tennessee and then to Grant County Wisconsin (Michigan Territory) finally settling in Greene County Illinois in the 1840's/'50's.
