Thanks so much for mentioning Aunt Artie. She was actually my grandmother's cousin on the PORTER side of the family, but I was raised to call her Aunt Artie. I would love any info on her family because I really don't have very much. I can remember them, but need some good info with dates if possible. Thank you very much, Wallace. Godspeed... Dolores, The sad fact is... I don't yet know if these are one in the same. However, I will be saving this in high hopes. And thank you so much for taking the time. You and everyone else on this list, takes the time to help out fellow researchers and I greatly appreciate it. This has to be by far, the best list that I belong to. Thanks, Jackie Howell

I know that some of you have contacted me in regards to the following HOLDER family that moved to Pickens Co. fr. Greenville Co. when they became orphans. The parents of these children were Lewis HOLDER and Mary Ann GOODLETT HOLDER. Those with asterisks (*) beside the name are the ones that I have nothing on other than census info. If anyone out there has any info on any of these HOLDER children, would you please be in touch with me? I would love to have more info, of any kind, on them. It may be that some of them died young; I just cannot find out what happened to them. Some of them may have even moved back to Greenville Co. after they were older. Just anything will be great! Thank you! Godspeed... Dolores M. Pringle - Mary Ann HOLDER and George Smith PORTER were my great-grandparents

Erb Boyd PRATER was the son of Joseph & Mary BOYD PRATER. He was b. 1822 in Pickens Co., SC. He md. Katurah HENDRIX/HENDRICKS b. 1828. Was Katurah's father Henry HENDRIX? I understand there might be a Cherokee connection. I would really appreciate any possible help here.
Would Jeptha Hendrix be related to Henry Hendrix by any chance?
If you will go in on OPD Database you will find plenty of Hendericks in the Family of Hendericks. Perhaps you might find Jeptha. It is free. Ellen [email protected] wrote: > I'm not sure. Hello all, Thank you for all the kind thoughts and prayers while I was in the hospital. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. This has been a terrihle ordeal for me. But, hopefully, I will bounce back stronger than ever. I do not know when I will get back to my genealogy. But, it soothes my soul and calms my nerves. That must be why I have been at my 'family tree' for over 16 years. Again, thank you very much. Please keep us in your prayers as we will keep you in ours. In kinship, Patricia A.
