I'd like to see if there are any other folk out there with an interest in the Polmaise 3 & 4 collieries in Lanarkshire. To that end, I am willing to do lookups in a booklet put together by Archie Bone a retired miner. In it, he has reprinted articles about fatalities in the pits, as well as showing pictures of some of the miners and some mine history. Quote: "The pages in the book are all taken from newspaper cuttings from "The Stirling Observer and the "Stirling Journal" who gave great coverage to all of the mining accidents."
