Sometimes when my own research isn't moving very fast, I like to study the census records. Would it be alright to list various Scott families that I find here, hoping that it would help someone else? By the way, I continue to search for my greatgrandmother Mary Ann Scott born 1864 in Arkansas. She was raised with the surname Hayes (Native American?) and married James Pearce in 1880. They lived in Polk County, Arkansas and moved into Indian Territory in the late 1890s. She married James Newberry in 1901 after James Pearce died. Mary Ann died in 1905. Billie Billie
