Married Adora Bird, then Myrta Ward. Moved with Myrta to Chico, CA. There are a lot of people who have been unable to find who his parents were; we only know they were from NY. His cousin was Alexander C. Scott, son of Richard. Richard's father was John, so I assume he was Lewis' grandfather as well. Any information regarding Lewis' or John's parentage would be most welcome. I've read elsewhere that this line traces back to Jeckomiah Scott, son of Capt. John Scott of Long Island fame (or infamy, depending on the source). Would dearly love to fill in the missing generations.
