    3. A Scott Cemetery- Location: From Shelbyville, KY, drive west on U.S. 60 for 2.7 miles and turn right on the Scotts Station Road. Continue north on this road for 1.2 miles and then turn left into the farm now owned by Ralph Peed. Follow the farm road to the house and then generally southwest around a large pond for approximately 1,500 feet. The cemetery is located in an open field. Condition: The stone wall which once protected these markers is completely down. There was a good deal of underbrush around the graves. This survey was made on november 20, 1976. 1....JAMES SCOTT/BORN/Mar. 4, 1785,/DIED/Feb. 3, 1822. -- SD. SBT Below the inscription. FM, also down, initialed J.S. 2....SACRED/TO THE MEMORY OF/JULIA./Widow of the late/JAMES SCOTT./DIED/June 8, 1856./Aged/70 Years. -- The first three liens of the inscription are arched. SD. SBT at the base. In the same book,there was an entry for ANN SCOTT/ dau of Major William Scott. b. 1816, d. 1828, in the Conner Cemetery, located in the Plum Creen Sector of Shelby County.
