Hi, Well David has motivated me to post my brick wall. I am specifically looking for the War of 1812 war records of my 3rd great grandfather, Robert Scott. Robert's grave at Kilgore Presbyterian Church Cemetery identifies him as a veteran of the War of 1812. From other sources I have received information about his service, but in both cases when I requested a <JavaScript:c_d(c_1,new%20Array(%221-FMKS%22,%22s_1_2_3_3%22,%22SWERowId0=1- FMKS%22),c_2,c_3,this)> Federal Military Pension Applications - Complete File from the NARA the files were not my Robert. I believe that Robert's wife, Elizabeth Munnell did make application for a bounty land warrant because in her will she divided up 400 acres of land in Missouri to her heirs. I have gone over the War of 1812 rosters at the PA Archives for any Robert Scott and have submitted requests to the NARA with no luck. I moved to Ohio's War of 1812 rosters and submitted requests for all Robert Scott's that served from Ohio and once again no luck. I am now working on a list from Virginia. My Robert Scott was born in 1782 in Washington Co Pa to Josiah Scott and Jane Gordon. He married Elizabeth Munnell on 22 Nov 1804, probably in PA. In 1827 they came, with nine of their living children, to Ohio and settled in that part of Harrison County that is now included in Carroll County. Robert died in 1830 in Harrison County, OH. If anyone has any information on this Robert Scott's military service in the War of 1812, I would surely appreciate any assistance. Thank you Mark Milligan
