Looking for information about gggg grandfather Robert Scott and his parents. He was the tenant farmer of Whitchester Farm (on east-south bank of Teviot River opposite Branxholm Castle). He was born in the 1720's or 30's. His Wife was Elizabeth (Bessie?) Douglass. Son was John Scott b 1761 and he became the tenant farmer of Boonraw Farm (North of Hawick) The descendants of John Scott and his son Robert Scott, also of Boonraw are on available at the Hawick Public Library or I can provide the complete document (electronically) which is the process of being updated.
