    3. The following are my mystery family.. Except for the brief period in time listed I can not find any other families to connect with these folks. David Scott b. 1813 probably in Scotland d. /22/1904, buried Beechwood . Married Francis Eliza Clute 8/22/1850 b. 1832, possibly New York State d. 10/22/1893, buried Beechwood Cem. Ottawa, Canada 1881 Census of Wellington Ward, Ottawa lists the family as: David Scott Married . Scottish origin age 52 Occupation, Clerk and Presbyterian faith. Eliza Scott, Married, German (Dutch) ethnic origin, 48, born in Ontario, same faith. Alvina Scott, Married 18, Ontario birth, Seamstress, same faith. (Could be Anna Scott) Anna married Mr. Lytle. Maria Scott 16, Ontario birth, same faith. Married Joseph Orr. Charles Scott 13, Ontario birth, same faith. Married Jane Berrigan in North Dakota. . Walter Scott 9, Ontario birth, same faith. Walter not married, died in Spanish American War in Manila. 1818 Census, Picton, Prince Edward, Ontario: John Clute Married, German Ethnic origin, 79 USA born, Accountant, C. Presbyterian faith. Maria Clute, Married Irish, 75, USA born, same faith Aggie Scott, Scottish, 22, Ontario born, same faith. Agnes may have married .....Pettingale (various spellings) She is buried on the plot of David and Francis Eliza, Beechwood Cem. Ottawa, Canada. John and Maria were the parents of Francis Eliza Scott and appears the grandparents of Aggie Scott, daughter of David and Francis Eliza Clute Scott. Marriage registration 1869 Lanark Co. Ontario lists Christina Scott (Christine) married S. D. Thomson Also: Ottawa Free Press 1875 Marriages: November 17, 1875 S. P. Thomson, to Christina, daughter of David Scott." Christina, Charles and Walter all left Canada. Charles and Christina to North Dakota. The rest remained in Canada. David Scott was said to have a brother, either Charles James or Charles Stinson Scott who arrived with David in Canada between 1834 to 1840. Both brothers were affiliated with the Delhousie Lodge of Ottawa. If anyone has any connection to this family or extended family I will be extremely happy to hear from you.
