CAME FROM NORTH CAROLINA TO CLERMONT CO, OHIO, perhaps 1802-1805 (daughter Rebecca, born 1800-1801, was born in North Carolina.) He purchased 100 acres in CLERMONT COUNTY OHIO 17MAY1805. Was in Washington Twp in CLERMONT COUNTY OHIO TAX LISTS for 1806 and 1810. THIS EDWARD SCOTT PURCHASED 160 ACRES IN SHELBY COUNTY INDIANA (30OCT1829) from GEORGE SCOTT AND WIFE POLLY (relationship unknown- perhaps a brother?) (Land purchased in the name of Edward Scott and his heirs.) Edward's children and heirs sold the property in May and June 1834. Burial for Edward Scott JUNE 1831 IN ST. PETER'S CEMETERY IN OHIO TWP.
