Hello, I am looking for help, I am trying to find out who the parents are of Catherine, (first name might be Mary) Scott. Catherine Scott, married John Daniel Boon/e about 1845 in, (I believe in Warren County, Kentucky). Catherine died about 1866 possible in Grayson County, Texas or on her way to Missouri. John D. Boone was born about 1822 Warren County, Kentucky and died about 1888, in Boone Township, Greene County, Missouri and buried at Kelly Chapel, Greene County, Missouri. **** I believe that (Mary) Catherine Scott’s parents might be James Scott and Elizabeth ____???____, they were married about 1824. James was born about 1792 in Kentucky; Elizabeth was born about 1802 in Kentucky. *** James Scott and Elizabeth ??? Children are: ****?? MARY "CATHERINE" SCOTT ……. born about 1825 ?? (My line.) Melinda Scott about 1828 Andy Scott about 1830 Eliza Scott about 1833 Robert Scott about 1836 William Scott about 1836 Benjamin Scott about 1844 Milndred Scott about 1848 **** Mary “Catherine” Scott and John D. Boon/e children are: 1.) Mary Elizabeth Boone, born 1846 Arkansas and Married William Brackney, they had at least one daughter by the name of Fanny, born May 1870 Arkansas. 2.) Sarah "Sallie" W. or T. Boone {my line}, born July 20, 1849 Arkansas died Sept. 17, 1905 Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri. Married John D. Smith. They had six children. 3.) Isadore "Dora or Dodie" Josephine Boone, born July 1851 Arkansas. Married December 07, 1871, Harvey Russell Goodman in Boone township, Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri. Harvey R. Goodman, born December 1851 Missouri died Jackson Township, Polk County, Missouri. They had at least six children. 4.) William “Bill” John Boone, born 1861 Grayson County, Texas Married Alice___?____. They had at least seven children. 5.) Nancy Boone, born 1864 Grayson County, Texas. And Married Benjamin Garrett in September 05, 1875, at Robinson Township, Greene County, Missouri. 6.) Robert Scott Boone, born July 1866 Grayson County, Texas. Married (1) Cora A. Knowles, (2) Married Minnie Mae Shuler, born May 1881 Indiana. They had at least six children. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. I am of course willing to share. If you are able to shed light on any part of my Scott line or their allied families, please do not hesitate. I have a Photo of John D. Boone and his children, but not of Catherine Scott, as well as a letter written by John to his wife Catherine during the War Between the States. I am willing to share.
