I am particularly interested in East Tennessee Voiles, by any spelling, especially those in Greene, Morgan, Scott, or Anderson Counties. William Voiles, born in early Greene Co., TN 1810-1820 is my great-great grandfather. He was married to Elizabeth Ward, daughter of Enoch Ward and Elizabeth Trail and they moved from Greene Co, TN through Anderson Co, TN to Fentress Co., TN in early 1850s, according to tax lists and land records. William eventually moved into Kentucky late 1860s and married twice more. Second wife was Alvana Auterson/Otterson/Atterson and third wife was Pruda Collins, whom he married in his old age.
