Hi Listers My 2x great grand mum Ann Norah Kate Kennedy SCOTT was born in 1862 in London (Whitechapel -2x mentionned- or Bromley -1x-) according to 3 different census. Unfortunately, there is no way to find her birth certificate. Her father's name was William SCOTT as shown on her marriage record with Joseph HILLMAN in December 1880 in Stepney, London. There again we were absolutely unable to locate William on the 1881 census. The SCOTT family is not to be find in the 1871 census, meaning they could have been living abroard for a while. To complicate the situation, Ann Norah K K appears as Hebe HILLMAN in the 1881 british census, as Kate Hillman in the 1891census and as Ann HILLMAN in 1901, everytime she was living in London. We are three working on this case and none of us managed to make a single crack on the brickwall. Could SKS help us with it. Thanks in advance. Anthony Leboucq
