I am searching for decendants and ancestors of William Samuel Scott and wife Manerva Elinor Hamilton. William was born 31 Oct 1821 near Huntsville Alabama. He died 26 Aug 1902 in Fannin Co Texas. He married Manerva Elinor Hamilton 17 Feb 1841, supposedly in Jackson Co Alabama. I have no confirmation of the marriage place and date, only what has been passed down by the family. William's father was John Thomas Scott born 1794 in Wake Co., NC. His mother was Mary Knox b: abt 1799 in Huntsville, AL. They had 6 children: 2 unknown (listed on the 1840 census), then following William wase Eliza Ann; Caroline E., and Eugenia John's father was Cpt.
