Hi my name is Sandra, I enjoy genealogy/history, video on demand & most of all spending time w/my hubby and our children. My 2nd great grandmother was Almira V. Scott she went by "Myra". She was born 10 June1840, Bridgewater, Oneida Co., NY - April, 1923, Jones Co., IA. Daughter of Horace & Betsy Scott of Bridgewater 1830 & 1840, however in 1820 they were in Buffalo, NY. Betsy must have died when Almira, was about 4 years old and she with her father & brothers migrated to Whitewater, WI, then to Baraboo, Sauk Co., WI, then to Linn Co., IA they moved around a lot by 1870 they were in Dane Co., WI and a couple of the brothers settled in Rock Co., WI. Almira married Newton Jeffers and they lived with Myra's father, Horace Scott, he was a physician and they lived in Beloit, Rock Co., WI. Newton was my grandmother's father. My grandmother was Lenore E. Jeffers. She married John Atteberry and I have a website for my Scott line & a website for my Atteberry line.
