HI Willis, Regarding your William SCott b KY.. I have to do some map searching before I say we may interconnect. But have you looked at CW records was he in the Civil WAR. Did he apply for pension? What does his WILL say or probate. IT should give idea's. What does Census say for you about him and his parents? Where was parents born? Look to see if he had business licences.? Check school records for the children? Church records? tax records. I hope this helps abit. I know nothing about my William Scott but born in KY. Thought he lived in IOWA but not necessarily so since his sister mar and lived in MONTANA.. His brother JOhn lived in IA and MO. I will compare more names and relay back to you if you do same for me.
