Still trying to locate the parents of Charles Scott b.1805/06 in then Jefferson Co, OH- d. 4/18/1864 Deersville, Franklin twnshp, Harrison Co., OH. He married Margaret Dodds b. 9/1811 (8/1810?) Ireland- d. 8/14/1881 Deersville. Both are buried in the cematery at Freeport. Margaret's parents were James Dodds & Esther Clifford. There are a lot of Scotts in Jefferson County in the early census records. And there has not been enough information for me to eliminate many of these households from the "possible" list.. By 1840 Charles and Margaret had their own household; m. April, 1830 Harrison Co., OH. I have found Margaret's parents living nearby.
