James: My Scott's: Archibald Scott had 3 sons and 3 daughters: His fist son was William Scott, b 1743 Suaterodgh, Co. Derry, Ulster Prov. Ireland d July 14, 1815. William married Rosannagh Tait 1760 an they had 2 children: John b August 11, 1765 d May 6, 1839 and Lewis b April 8, 1774 and d February 22, 1866. Lewis married Barbara Dalrymple and they had 9 children. Their 7th child was my ancestor and her name was Charity Gilliand Scott. She was known as "Cherry". Cherry married Samuel Bailey on Jan 6, 1831 and they had 5 children: Robert F Bailey, Lewis Bailey, Harriett E Bailey, Ruby Bailey, and Marion Cook Bailey. Marion married John Burdett Easton who was my gggranfather. Most of the Baileys and Scott's were buried in Greenfield Cemetery near Saratoga, NY.
