Does anyone know anything about Richard SCOTT and his ancestors? Henry SMITH and Elizabeth BALL married Dec. 13, 1764. Their daughter, Harriet SMITH (HENRY4, THOMAS3, THOMAS2, THOMAS1) was born August 22, 1772 in Hyde Park, St. Johns Parish, SC, and died October 19, 1822. She married 1789 RICHARD SCOTT (only son of Col. William. Scott and Mary Waring, daughter of Richard and Florence Waring of Pine Hill.). He was born 1768. Children of HARRIET SMITH and RICHARD SCOTT are: i.ELEANOR HARRIET6 SCOTT, b. 1810. ii.ELIZABETH ANN SCOTT, b. 1792; m. H.L. POYAS. iii.MARY TRANQUIL SCOTT, b. 1794. iv.ANN BALL SCOTT, b. May 09, 1797, South Carolina. v.WILLIAM RICHARD SCOTT. vi.HENRY SMITH SCOTT, b. 1804. vii.ELIZA/ELISE BALL SCOTT, b. 1805. viii.CATHERINE SCOTT. ix.SUSAN SCOTT, b. 1805.
